Guiding Words
“may my heart (all ways) always be open to little birds who are the secrets of living…” —ee cummings
“Take wrong turns. Talk to strangers. Open unmarked doors. And if you see a group of people in a field, go find out what they’re doing. Do things without always knowing how they’ll turn out. You’re curious and smart and bored, and all you see is the choice between working hard and slacking off. There are so many adventures you miss because you’re waiting to think of a plan. To find them, look for tiny interesting choices. And remember that you are always making up the future as you go. ”
“Maybe the past is like an anchor holding us back. Maybe, you have to let go of who you were to become who you will be.”—Carrie Bradshaw, Sex and the City
“The truly educated never graduate.”
“Those who take initiative possess tenacity and a healthy degree of impatience with idleness.”
Hi, I'm Sarah
I am a publishing and visual communications professional in the Boston area working as a front-end design and content-focused web/graphic designer with a unique blend of artistic, technical, analytical, and communication skills. I have worked in educational publishing, and with business-to-business print and online publications, e-mail newsletters, webcasts/webinars, analytics, online advertising, and professional corporate design.
I have experience working directly with clients, and with C-level business executives, programmers, editors and printers. In addition to my day job, I freelance and create collateral and websites for small businesses. This is my area to showcase my portfolio and interests.
